Angelina Jolie, the superstar actress and producer, has just hired her 15-year-old daughter, Vivienne, as her assistant for a new Broadway musical based on the novel “The Outsiders.” But hold up, can you imagine being Angie’s other assistant? Talk about a challenging job!

In a statement to Page Six, Angelina Jolie couldn’t help but admire her youngest daughter, drawing a parallel between Vivienne and her own mother, Marcheline Bertrand, a renowned actress and producer. According to Jolie, Vivienne isn’t interested in hogging the spotlight; instead, she thrives on supporting other creatives. Jolie added, “Viv is very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute.”

It’s no surprise that Vivienne is passionate about theater, as her mother has been taking her to performances since she was a little girl. In fact, Jolie and Vivienne even had the opportunity to meet S.E. Hinton, the author of “The Outsiders,” who was around Vivienne’s age when she wrote the novel. Jolie values the input and perspectives of young people, ensuring they are involved in every step of the production’s journey to Broadway.

I have to say, this seems like an incredible opportunity for Vivienne to explore her love for the stage while spending quality time with her mom. And let’s not forget, “The Outsiders” is all about a teenage gang – just like me back in the day! Viv is totally immersed in the Broadway scene, and last year she and Angelina attended a performance of “Dear Evan Hansen,” even scoring a backstage pass to meet the stars. Looks like Vivienne is becoming an Outsiders insider herself!
