A+: Leslie Nielsen

Let’s get this party started with a hilarious classic. In this week’s credits sequence, the Jets coaches decided to put the young guns through film school. And who better to learn from than Leslie Nielsen himself? Yes, the Leslie Nielsen! HBO must have done some serious licensing magic to make the Naked Gun’s iconic “Bingo!” scene play in full. Bravo!

A: “Shoutout to Optimus Prime”

Damn straight! We’re giving a big shoutout to Optimus Prime, because even he would be impressed by the larger-than-life performances we’re seeing on Hard Knocks. The Jets are bringing their A-game, and we’re here for it!

A-: The Mentalist

Get ready for an intense ride! The Jets really know how to spice things up. This time, they brought in a mentalist named Oz Pearlman. And trust us, he’s not messing around. Oz Pearlman! This guy scared the living daylights out of the squad, reading minds, performing mind-boggling tricks with puzzle pieces, and blowing Aaron Rodgers’ mind with a card trick. We’re telling you, this guy needs his own show. HBO, take notes!

B: Aaron Rodgers Is an Immortal Deity Who Beamed Down to New Jersey With the Promise of Eternal Life (Part Two)

Let the hero worship continue! Our shining knight, Aaron Rodgers, is capturing hearts in his Office T-shirt. This week, we dive into Rodgers’ divine powers. He seems to know everyone and everything. We witness Rodgers strolling around the Panthers’ practice, casually throwing shade at old coaches with his witty remarks like, “What’s up, little bitch?” And guess what? He apparently knows every single blade of grass on the field. We even see him pondering whether the grass is smokable. Yes, you heard that right. Aaron Rodgers and his grass ponderings. This is pure gold!

B-: Zach Wilson

Let’s give a round of applause to Zach Wilson for keeping his cool two weeks in a row. This young quarterback is showing some serious potential. He fearlessly faced off against Aaron Rodgers, honing his play fake skills, and hey, he even got his dad’s approval on the swag. Keep it up, Zachary!

C: The Carolina Panthers

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room. Are the New York Jets the most dominant team in football, or are the Carolina Panthers just really, really bad? Well, let’s be generous and say it’s a bit of both (although Hard Knocks might want us to lean towards the former). During the joint practice, the Jets, led by the unstoppable Quinnen Williams, annihilated the Panthers’ defense, shouting “sack!” in Bryce Young’s face more times than we could count. Although the Panthers might have a rough season ahead, let’s take the Jets’ dominance with a grain of salt.
