When New York Fashion Week rolls around, the girls go all out. Especially when they sit front row, like Julia Fox who wore the longest mullet we have ever seen to the Victoria’s Secret show, Emily Ratajkowski who matched her nails to the brand’s pink carpet, and The Summer I Turned Pretty’s Lola Tung who brought the sparkle and glamour to Coach’s front row.

To sit front row at Coach’s Spring 2024 show, Tung wore a flowy black sequin minidress with spaghetti straps, paired with a black dinosaur choker, mismatched earrings, and a black purse. The outfit was a stunning choice for the occasion.

But what about the makeup? Celebrity makeup artist Misha Shahzada spills the beans on the inspiration behind Tung’s makeup look. According to Shahzada, the key was to keep the makeup effortless and chic, with a pop on the eyes to complement the dress’s sparkle. Sounds like a challenge!

Shahzada reveals that Tung’s makeup consisted of precisely applied eyeliner on the waterline, forming a sharp cat eye, along with glowy natural-looking skin, subtle eyeshadow, and nude-pink lips. The goal was to enhance Tung’s features without overpowering the dazzling outfit.

But how did Shahzada achieve this look? The secret lies in the products used. One of the key players was the KVD Beauty Dazzle Long-Wear Eyeshadow Stick in shade Hail Surge. Shahzada warmed up a bit of the product with her fingertip before pressing it onto Lola’s eyelids, starting at the inner corner. She also used the KVD Beauty Tattoo Pencil Liners in shades Tigereye Brown and Trooper Black to create the winged effect, adding depth and dimension.

For Lola’s radiant, natural-looking skin, Shahzada used the KVD Beauty Good Apple Skin-Perfecting Foundation Balm, which, according to her, feels like skin with just the right amount of coverage. She followed up with the KVD Beauty Good Apple Lightweight Full Coverage Concealer to conceal and highlight, and then sculpted and contoured with the KVD Beauty ModCon Liquid-Gel Contour. Adding a touch of color, Shahzada swept on the KVD Beauty Everlasting Blush in shades Honeysuckle and Foxglove.

To complete the look, Shahzada applied a few coats of the KVD Beauty Full Sleeve Long + Defined Tubing Mascara and a coat of the KVD Beauty Everlasting Hyperlight Liquid Lipstick in shade Quicksand Rose.

Despite Tung’s openness to experimenting with makeup, this time, Shahzada felt that keeping it simple and chic was the right choice. And boy, did they get it right! The makeup perfectly complemented Tung’s outfit, making her the ultimate embodiment of sparkle and glamour at Coach’s front row.
