Prince Harry is reportedly heading to England for the WellChild Awards, happening on September 7. It’s quite a coincidence that this appearance falls just one day before the one-year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s passing on September 8. Talk about perfect timing! Harry will be in the U.K. right when the royal family is gathering in Balmoral to pay tribute to the queen as a family. So, while they’re all there mourning and remembering, Harry will be doing his thing at the awards ceremony. Hopefully, his presence will bring some joy amidst the somber atmosphere.

However, don’t get your hopes up for a big royal family reunion. Insiders spill the tea that Prince Harry has “no intention” of seeing King Charles or Prince William during his quick stop in the United Kingdom. Ouch! It looks like Harry’s relationship with his family is still “firmly rooted at rock bottom.” And to make matters worse, the source adds, “While some may suggest it would be good order for the family to settle their differences, perhaps even in the late Queen’s memory, things are a long way off.” Yikes! Guess there won’t be any family healing on this trip!
Well, if Harry won’t be catching up with his dad and brother, at least he might get to see his cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Family drama aside, it’s always nice to hang out with cousins, right? Let’s hope they can have some quality bonding time and create their own mini royal party. Who knows, they might even start planning a secret family gathering for the future!

Moving on to more logistical matters, the Telegraph spills the tea that “for the first time since moving abroad, Harry will be forced to ask permission from Buckingham Palace for accommodation.” Seriously, Harry? I know you’re a prince and all, but being evicted from your own home, Frogmore Cottage, is quite a predicament. I guess it’s time to face the music and follow the proper protocols. So, he’ll either have to request access to an apartment on one of the royal estates or opt for a hotel stay or crashing on a friend’s couch. Oh, the struggles of ex-royalty! It’s a good thing he has friends, though; no one wants Prince Harry to end up homeless on his quick jaunt to the U.K.!
